Facebook & Instagram ads that reach people before they search.
Google reaches people who already know they need you. Facebook and Instagram reach people nearby who haven't thought about it yet. Our Facebook ads management covers both apps: local campaigns, offers, retargeting, creative from your own photos and tracking that shows what the ads brought in.

The Boost button isn't a plan
For a lot of local businesses, Facebook advertising means boosting a post when the week looks slow. That can put a post in front of more people. It doesn't decide who should see what next, and without tracking on your website there's no way to know whether anyone booked, called or walked in.

You bought likes when you wanted bookings
You bought likes when you wanted bookings
Likes feel like progress, but they don't fill a chair or a table. If the goal is a booking or a quote request, the campaign has to be set up for that goal, and your website has to be able to tell Meta when it happens.
b.
The same ad ran for months
The same ad ran for months
A local audience is small, so the same neighbors see your ad again and again. When the photo and the offer never change, the ad blends into the feed while the budget keeps going.

Nobody can say what the ads brought in
Nobody can say what the ads brought in
Without the Meta Pixel and conversion events on your site, Ads Manager can count reach and link clicks but can't see what happened after the tap. Every budget decision becomes a guess.

01
Which channel first
Which channel first
Before any spend, we tell you whether Meta should come before or after Google Ads for your business. For an emergency trade, the answer is usually after.
02
Tracking that tells Meta who booked
Tracking that tells Meta who booked
We add Meta's tracking code to your site and send the same events from the server or our CRM platform, so bookings, quote requests and call taps still count when a browser blocks tracking, and Meta can find more people like the ones who booked.
03
Audiences built around your address
Audiences built around your address
A radius of about a mile around your shop, or the cities and ZIP codes you serve. Then warm audiences: recent site visitors, people who engaged with your Page or Instagram profile, and your customer list, matched by Meta from scrambled emails and phone numbers.
04
Creative from your real work
Creative from your real work
Photos and short vertical videos of your shop, your jobs or your plates, sized for feeds, Stories and Reels. Neighbors can tell a stock photo from your actual counter, so if your camera roll is thin, we'll send a shot list.
05
Offers and retargeting
Offers and retargeting
A clear offer for people who have never tried you, and retargeting for people who opened your menu or booking page and didn't finish. Current customers can be left out of new-customer offers.
06
Lead forms that get a reply
Lead forms that get a reply
When an instant form suits the offer, each lead goes straight into our CRM platform, gets a text back and starts a follow-up sequence instead of waiting in a download.
07
Special ad category checks
Special ad category checks
Ads for open jobs fall under Meta's employment category, which limits targeting. We flag hiring, housing and financial offers before launch and plan around the rules.
08
Weekly tending, monthly report
Weekly tending, monthly report
Each week we check how often the same people are seeing each ad, what a result costs and what's in the comments, then swap creative before it wears out. Results go into your monthly marketing report.
One ad, and everything behind it.
The part people see is small. The audience, the offer and the tracking behind it decide whether it books anyone.

How Facebook & Instagram ads run, week by week
Free marketing review
On a free marketing review, we look at your offer, your area, your site and any ads you've run before, plus what others in your trade are running right now in Meta's public Ad Library (opens in a new tab). If your customers search rather than scroll, we'll say so and suggest starting with local SEO or Google Ads instead.
Tracking, audiences, first creative
Tracking installed and tested, audiences built, and the first round of ads made from your photos and video. Nothing runs until you've approved it.
Launch small and read the results
A handful of ads per campaign keeps the numbers readable. Weak ads get cut early, and the budget follows the ad and audience pairs that produce bookings, calls or forms.
Refresh and report
New creative for the month ahead, a short report and a quick call about budget. Minnesota seasons change the playbook: a patio opening in spring and a slow week in February call for different ads. Packages run month-to-month.
Meta or Google first?
| Your situation | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An emergency trade: plumbing, heating, locks, towing | Google Search ads | Someone with a flooded basement searches right away. They won't wait for an ad in their feed. |
| A café, restaurant or bakery with something new | Facebook & Instagram | New menus, patio openings and weekend specials get discovered mid-scroll, and the photos do the selling. |
| A barbershop or salon with open chairs | Instagram, then retargeting | The work is visual, and people who already opened your booking page are worth a reminder. |
| A roofer, remodeler or other big-ticket trade | Google Search, with Meta retargeting | Big jobs start with a search. Retargeting keeps your finished work in view while the homeowner compares quotes. |
| Opening a new location | Facebook & Instagram | Few people search for a business they've never heard of. |
| Hiring staff | Facebook & Instagram, in the employment category | Job ads are allowed with limits: no ZIP code, age or gender targeting, and a 15-mile minimum radius. |
What a local ad needs before we'll run it
What a local ad needs before we'll run it
- A real photo or clip of your work, somewhere customers will recognize
- The offer in the first line, in plain words, with an end date if it's a promotion
- Your town or neighborhood named, so it reads as local at a glance
- One clear next step that matches the goal: book, call or ask for a quote
- A landing page that repeats the same offer, so nobody has to hunt for it
- Placements picked on purpose. Left alone, Meta can show an ad anywhere it runs ads, from Marketplace to Messenger
- A plan for replying to comments, because a local ad's comments are public
- UTM tags on the link, so your analytics credit the right ad

Facebook and Instagram campaigns are scoped on a free 30-minute call and added to a monthly package. Ad spend sits outside the package and is paid directly to Meta from your own ad account.
Facebook & Instagram ads questions owners ask
How much does Facebook ads management cost?
It depends on how many campaigns you run and how much new creative each month needs, so we set the fee after we talk and add it to one of our monthly packages. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to Meta from your own ad account. Everything is month-to-month, with no long-term contract.
Should I run Facebook ads or Google Ads?
If people search for what you do the moment they need it, start with Google Ads or local SEO. If you sell something people discover by seeing it, like food, a fresh cut or a boutique find, start with Facebook and Instagram. The two also work well together: Google catches the search, and Meta reminds the people who looked and left.
Do you run Instagram ads for small businesses too?
Yes. Instagram ads run from the same Meta ad account as Facebook ads, and one campaign can place ads in both apps, Stories and Reels included. It's one service here, so Instagram shares the same campaigns and the same report.
Can my ads just send people to my Facebook page?
They can, and for a quick question or a message that's sometimes fine. For bookings, orders and anything you want to measure, we send people to a fast page on your own site, where the pixel can see what happened next. Our guide on a website vs a Facebook page covers the tradeoff.
Who makes the ads?
We do. We write the copy and build the images and short videos from your photos and phone footage, and nothing runs until you've approved it. No usable photos yet? We'll send a shot list you can work through on a slow afternoon.
Can you run hiring ads for my shop?
Yes, within Meta's rules for job ads. They fall under the employment special ad category, so ZIP code, age and gender targeting are off and the smallest radius is 15 miles. We plan the message and the radius around those limits.
What results should I expect?
We won't promise a number of leads or a return on spend. Tracking goes in before the first ad runs, so after the first month you'll see what the spend produced and can decide with real numbers. If Meta isn't earning its budget, we'll tell you and suggest where the money works harder.
